The Story Behind Mindorazelva

Born from curiosity, built with purpose

Back in 2019, I found myself explaining Bitcoin to my neighbor over coffee for the third time that month. She wasn't alone – everywhere I looked, people were curious about cryptocurrency but overwhelmed by technical jargon and conflicting information. That's when it hit me: there was a real gap between the complex world of digital finance and everyday people who just wanted straight answers.

What started as informal conversations in a Bristol café evolved into Mindorazelva – a platform dedicated to making financial technology accessible to everyone, regardless of their technical background.

We chose our Bristol location deliberately. This city has this incredible mix of traditional finance and emerging tech, which mirrors exactly what we're trying to do – bridge the old with the new. From our base on Emery Road, we've been building resources that speak to real people facing real financial decisions in an increasingly digital world.

Our Mission

We exist to demystify the complex world of digital finance. Every piece of content we create, every explanation we craft, serves one purpose: helping people make informed financial decisions without getting lost in technical complexity.

Think of us as translators. We take the intimidating language of blockchain, cryptocurrency, and fintech, then present it in ways that actually make sense for your everyday financial planning.

What Drives Us

Our approach is built on principles that guide every decision we make:

  • Clarity over complexity – we choose simple explanations over impressive terminology
  • Practical application – every concept connects to real-world financial decisions
  • Honest assessment – we discuss both opportunities and risks transparently
  • Continuous learning – the digital finance world evolves, and so do we
  • Community focus – your questions shape our content priorities

The People Behind the Platform

Meet the team that's passionate about making financial education accessible and practical

Sarah Mitchell

Head of Education & Strategy

Sarah brings over eight years of experience in financial education and content strategy. Before Mindorazelva, she worked with several UK fintech companies, helping them translate complex products into user-friendly resources. Her background in behavioral economics helps her understand why people make certain financial decisions – and how to present information that leads to better outcomes.

How We Work

Our approach combines rigorous research with genuine empathy for our users' experiences. We spend considerable time understanding the questions people actually ask about digital finance, not just the questions we think they should ask.

Every piece of content goes through our "coffee shop test" – if you couldn't explain it clearly to someone over coffee, we haven't simplified it enough yet. This philosophy has helped us build resources that people actually use rather than bookmark and forget.

We're also committed to staying current. The cryptocurrency and fintech landscapes change rapidly, so we continuously update our materials and approaches. What worked for explaining Bitcoin in 2020 might not resonate with someone learning about DeFi in 2024.
